Scenario 1: When the customer is starting afresh
In this scenario enterprises can go for a fresh/new installation, be it cloud, on premise or the hybrid version. If they are going for a cloud deployment option, they can be up and running in couple of days time, with best practices being implemented.
Scenario 2: Customers who are an SAP Installed base running on any Database
Here enterprises already have an SAP Business Suite implemented running on any database server like SQL or any other open source database server. If they intent to go for a cloud deployment option, they can simply transfer their data to the cloud.
For an on-premise deployment option, customers can upgrade to the latest Enhancement Package (EHP), migrate their database to HANA and then deploy simplification package.
Scenario 3: Customers having SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA
In this scenario, customers can simply transfer data to the cloud. Even if they want to continue with an on-premise deployment option, they just need to implement a simplification package
